A gas skip report led Hays Police to a drug arrest Wednesday night. Lt. Brandon Wright told Hays Post, “Officers tracked down a suspect accused of filling up his vehicle at Cervs, 2701 Vine, and not paying.” The gas skip was apparently an oversight.

However, during the investigation police also found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and arrested 20-year old Rodney Jones of Hays.
