A national Pizza Chain either does not know the difference between Wildcats and Jayhawks or made an honest mistake. The Pizza chain sent a text message prior to Thursday’s NCAA basketball tourney games with a special offer for customers

“Go KSU and WSU stop in for a Lrg 2-top pizza for $8 on Thurs. and Fri.!Msge/Data rates apply. STOP 2 end”

After realizing the KSU basketball season ended in the first round of the NCAA tournament, they sent another text message to customers.
“CORRECTION:Go KU and WSU stop in for a Lrg 2-top pizza for $8 on Thurs. and Fri.!Msge/Data rates apply. STOP 2 end.”

The local affiliate of the chain told Hays Post they were unaware of the error.
