Notably one of the most popular children’s stories to date, loved by parents and children alike, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of its original publication, and the Hays Public Library is celebrating too! On Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., the Youth Services Department will hold a very special Anniversary party, complete with mini monster cheese balls and monster photo frames.
