The Fort Hays State women’s golf team finished second at the Regis Invitational at Fox Hollow in Lakewood, Colorado.

The Tigers, who were in fifth place after a 349 in the first round Monday, shoot a 329 in the second round but still finished 46 strokes behind first place Regis.

Samantha Hobson fired a 3-over 75 on Tuesday, the second lowest round of the tournament to finished alone in second place at 12-over, 10 shots out of first. Carmen Thompson finished 10th with a 167 and Megen DeWerff was 12th with a 169.
