The Hays Police Department conducted 22 traffic received four animal calls on Thursday, according to the Police Activity Log.
Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated two theft reports on Thursday. The first theft occurred on Sunday, March 31st at 7:07 p.m. in the 4300 block of Vine Street. The second theft was reported in the 1900 block of Vine Street at 6:31 Thursday evening.
Burglary: Officers investigated a burglary in connection with a civil dispute in the 500 block of East 20th Street at 11:03 Thursday morning.
Drug Offenses: Officers conducted two drug related offense investigations on Thursday. The first drug offense was in connection with a driving under the influence stop conducted in the 2200 block of Canterbury Drive Thursday morning at 2:53. The second drug offense was reported in the 2900 block of Sherman Avenue at 4:00 Thursday afternoon.
Missing Person: The Hays PD received a missing person report Thursday afternoon in the 500 block of East 12th Street.
Removal of Unwanted Person: Officers responded to the 4300 block of Vine Street at 8:47 p.m. Thursday for the report of an unwanted person.
Motor Vehicle Accidents: The Hays PD responded to five motor vehicle accidents on Thursday. Three of the accidents involved private property. The first was reported in the 3600 block of Vine Street at 7:20 Thursday evening. The second was reported in the 300 block of West 8th Street at 7:51 p.m. The third accident was a hit and run accident in the 1700 block of Hall Street at 9:30 Thursday evening.
