The Hays Police Department conducted 11 traffic stops and received eight animal calls on Wednesday, according to the Police Activity Log.

Driving Under the Influence: The Hays Police Department conducted two driving under the influence stops on Wednesday. The first DUI stop was conducted in the 500 block of Pine Street Wednesday morning at 12:20. Officers also investigated drug offenses in connection with the stop. The second DUI stop was conducted in the 300 block of West 13th Street Wednesday morning at 1:00.

Disturbance: Officers responded to three disturbance reports on Wednesday. The first disturbance was reported in the 1200 block of Main Street Wednesday afternoon at 2:46. There was also a report of disorderly conduct in connection with the disturbance report. There were two domestic disturbances reported Wednesday. The first domestic disturbance was in connection with a civil dispute in the 2700 block of Colonial Street at 6:30 Wednesday night. Another domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of East 15th Street Wednesday night at 11:07.

Criminal Damage to Property: The Hays PD received one report of damage to property in the 2000 block of Lincoln Drive. Officers investigated it as criminal damage to property at 7:57 Wednesday morning.

Motor Vehicle Accidents: Officers responded to two motor vehicle accidents on Wednesday. The first accident was reported at 22nd and Allen Street Wednesday morning at 12:00. The second motor vehicle accident was reported at 13th and Canterbury Wednesday afternoon at 1:40.
