Wind Blows Semi off I-70

Kansas Highway PatrolHigh Winds blew a Semi Truck off Interstate 70 on Friday evening. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the 2013 Volvo Semi Truck was westbound at milepost 56 when wind pushed the truck into the median. The driver overcorrected back onto the highway and then lost control. The semi rolled on to its passenger side and slid sideways into the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70. The truck driver, sixty-two year old Daniel R Palumbo of Mesquite, Texas was taken to Citizens Medical Center in Colby for treatment.
