Eggs & Issues Moved to Saturday May 18

We have confirmed with the legislators that the State legislative session will still be ongoing this weekend, keeping them in Topeka.
Eggs & Issues is being moved to accommodate their schedule

Here are the new times/dates to also cater to those needing to attend FHSU graduation later that morning:

Saturday, May 18
Welcome Center
7:30 a.m. start time, so try to be at the Center around 7:15.
End time 9 a.m.

The Hays Area Chamber of Commerce will hold the final Eggs & Issues Legislative Forum this coming Saturday, May 11at 8:30 a.m. at the Welcome Center, 2700 Vine Street. If the state legislators are unable to  attend due to the extended state legislative session, Eggs and Issues will be rescheduled for May 18. If you have submitted an RSVP, the chamber office will contact you.

Sponsored by AT& T, The Eggs & Issues Legislative Forums are a series of meetings with state legislators that provide area residents the opportunity to learn more about legislative issues.

Legislators present at the forum will be Senator Ralph Ostmeyer, representing the 40th District; Representatives Sue Boldra, from the 111th District; and Travis Couture-Lovelady from the 110th District.
A light breakfast will be served prior to the beginning of the forum. The event is free, however RSVPs are requested. RSVP to the Chamber office by calling 628-8201 or emailing [email protected].
