Olympic Swimmers Motivate Western Kansas Kids

 

The Hays Hurricanes hosted an Olympic swim clinic for the Western Kansas Swim Club on Friday at the FHSU pool. (click on the photos for a closer look)

Olympic gold medal swimmers Ian Crocker  and Alyssa Anderson  worked with swimmers from Hays and other Western Kansas Swim Clubs.
Crocker is a five-time (three gold, one silver, one bronze) Olympic medalist. He is a former world record holder in the 50 and 100 meter butterfly and the 100 meter freestyle. At the London 2012 games, Anderson swam for the winning U.S. team in the preliminary heats of the 4x 200 meter freestyle relay  and earned a gold medal.
