Two teenage boys were injured in a rollover accident on Thursday evening. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, “Sixteen year old Samuel A. Gallagher of Oakley was driving 1989 Chevy Pickup Eastbound on Thomas County Road A which curves into Thomas County Road 32, a mile and a half east of Oakley. The truck was going too fast to negotiate the curve.

Gallagher lost control of the truck and it rolled into the East ditch of Thomas County Road 32. The truck rolled one time, and came to rest on its wheels facing west. Gallagher and a passenger, 16 year old Trey W. Hayden of Oakley were transported to Logan County Hospital. They had been wearing seat belts.”
