A 74-year-old Arkansas man was injured Sunday morning after colliding with a deer on I-70, 6 miles East of Oakley.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Clark W. Dent of Hot Springs, was westbound on I-70 when a deer entered the roadway from the median colliding with the motorcycle he was driving.

Dent was airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.

No further information has been released.
