Fatal Saturday Morning Accident under Investigation UPDATE

5p.m. update The Ellis County Sheriff’s office has released the name of the man killed in Saturday morning’s accident. Jordan D. Schreurs, age 20, was taken to Hays Medical Center with head injuries and then air lifted to KU hospital where he died. Authorities are still investigating the accident that occurred just after 1 a.m. near 210th Avenue and Mount Pleasant Road. Schreurs reportedly fell from a moving vehicle.

210th Avenue and Mt. Pleasant Road for report of an individual who had fallen from a moving vehicle. The man was transported to HaysMed with head injuries and then flown to KU hospital where he died.
