Farmers gather Wednesday night north of Victoria for the annual wheat plot tour sponsored by the KSU Ellis County Extension Office.  Northwest Kansas Area Agronomist Brian Olson says wheat fields along Highway 36 are looking pretty good, but quality starts deteriorating both north and south of that line.  Ellis County Agriculture Agent Stacy Campbell predicts the local 2011 wheat harvest will get underway about June 13th, with spotty results.
