The Blue Jays take advantage of two Kansas City errors before Adam Lind’s two-run homer to grab the early 3-0 lead. The Royals closed within a run at 6-5 before J.P. Arencibia hit his 10th homer of the year to push the lead to three in the eighth.

Vin Mazarro picks up the loss, giving up six runs in five innings. Jeff Francoeur has two hits and drives in three runs for the Royals.

The series continues tonight with Royals pre-game at 6:35pm on KAYS.
