Two former Hays Larks were selected in the second day of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.
Michigan State’s Kurt Wunderlich was selected in the 20th round by Oakland. Wunderlich is a right-handed pitcher who played for the Larks in 2009.
Nebraska’s Casey Hauptman goes in the 26th round to the New York Mets. Hauptman is also a right-handed pitcher. He played for the Larks in 2008.
The draft wraps up today with rounds 31 through 50.
