A woman from Ellis was transported to Graham County Hospital Sunday night after a collision with a deer.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, around 9:35pm 35-year-old Amy Lang was southbound on her 2003 Harley Davidson approximately 12 miles south of Hill City on US 283 when she struck a deer. Lang, who was wearing a helmet, came to rest in the west ditch.

Lang’s condition was not released.
