The Hays Eagles Senior American Legion wins their “AAA” Zone tournament opener, defeating Great Bend 3-1 Tuesday night in Dodge City.

Hayden Hutchison moves to 7-4 with a nine inning complete game outing. Clayton Basgall led the offense, going 4-for-5 with two doubles.

The Eagles improve to 27-16 and await the Great Bend/Dodge City winner tonight at seven o’clock.
