Andrew Heck pitched a complete-game four-hitter, leading the Hays Larks to a 7-0 win over Walker Transmisison (CO) in an elimination round game at the NBC World Series in Wichita. The game, which didn’t start until 1:38am, was delayed for nearly five hours by rain and didn’t resume until after six o’clock in the morning.

Heck allowed no runs, striking out two and walking only one for his second win of the season.

Jon Ryan and Cam Brown both had two hits and drove in two.

The win advances the Larks to a 4th round elimination game at 5pm Sunday against the winner of Sunday’s 12:30am game between the San Diego (CA) Force and the Clarinda (IA) A’s. You can listen to the game on KAYS (1400-AM).
