Fort Hays State University’s Tigers in Service and Kansas Corps are offering a number of volunteer opportunities and free events for students, faculty and the community this fall. Saturday the groups along with the Hays Rotary Club will hold a Paint-a-Thon. Volunteers will paint the exterior of three local houses for elderly or disabled homeowners. Help is also needed before the Saturday event to prepare the houses for paint.

Also on Saturday, Kansas Corps will be in Melvern to assist elderly residents with cleanup of their homes.
