A Pawnee Rock man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday morning inSheridanCounty. 56-year-old Mark Cross was northbound on Highway 23 about three miles south of Hoxie when his pickup crossed the center line and drifted into the west ditch. The Highway Patrol says Cross overcorrected and hit the guardrail. He was taken to the hospital in Hoxie.
