Progressive Physical Therapy Celebrates October with Community Food Drive

Progressive Physical Therapy Center is Celebrating National Physical Therapy Month in October by organizing a community food drive. The GIVE BACK Community Food Drive will run from Oct. 1-31.

All food collected will be donated to the Food Pantry at St. Joseph’s Food Pantry in Hays.

“We wanted to recognize Physical Therapy Month by creating an event that would help our community members who are in need,” said Tim Markus, Physical Therapist and co-owner of Progressive Physical Therapy. “At the same time, we wanted the effort to involve Hays and our surrounding communities because their collective support has been the paramount reason for our success.”

Participants don’t have to be patients to get involved, explained Markus. They can drop off non-perishable food items to Progressive Therapy, 2209 Canterbury (Suite B), Hays, during the work week. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Contact Progressive Physical Therapy if you have questions, 785-621-4570, or e-mail [email protected].

Food Drive Also Happens in Larned and Great Bend

The GIVE BACK Community Food Drive is happening simultaneously during October in Larned and Great Bend at Progressive Therapy’s partner locations. Those in the Larned or Great Bend areas can drop off their food items at Progressive Therapy & Sports Medicine, Larned, or at Advanced Therapy & Sports Medicine, Great Bend.
