As surface high pressure over northeastern Colorado sinks southeastward, sunny skies, cool temperatures and light northerly winds will result across western Kansas.

Highs today will struggle to reach the lower to mid 50s.

Thursday will be another cold one, with overnight temperatures dipping to below freezing in most locations.
