Alma Billinger

Victoria, Kansas – Alma Billinger, age 84, died Friday, December 2, 2011, at her home in Victoria, Kansas.

She was born March 21, 1927, at Victoria, Kansas, to John A. and Rosa (Dreiling) Weber. She married Gilbert Billinger on October 16, 1944, at Victoria, Kansas. He died September 29, 1992.

She was homemaker, worked at the old St. Anthony Hospital in housekeeping and did housekeeping for a number of people in the Hays and Victoria area. She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and Secular Franciscan Order, both of Victoria, Kansas.

Survivors include two sons, Gilbert Billinger Jr. and wife, Carol, Pfeifer, KS; Larry Billinger, Salina, KS, one daughter-in-law, Roseann Billinger, Hays, KS, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Leo Francis Billinger and Thomas Lee Billinger, two brothers, Herman Weber and Albert Weber; four sisters, Clara McNett, Blanche Windholz, Ida Rupp, Mathilda Bollig.

Services are 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church Victoria, Kansas. Burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery Victoria, Kansas. Vigil service is at 6:45 P.M. Monday, followed by a Christian Mothers and Secular Franciscan Order Rosary at 7:30 P.M. all at Cline’s Mortuary 412 Main Victoria, Kansas 67671. Visitation is from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday and 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. Tuesday at Cline’s Mortuary Victoria, Kansas.
