Governor Sam Brownback has announced appointments to various boards and commissions.

Kathryn Mitchell, of Hays, has been appointed to the Kansas State Board of Accountancy. Mitchell has been a CPA at a local firm since 1982 and a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

The Kansas Board of Accountancy is the regulatory body governing CPAs.
