Rooks County Sheriff Accused Of Meth Distribution Makes Court Appearance, Released On Bond

The Rooks County Sheriff who was arrested on suspicion of distributing methamphetamine has been released on bond.

43-year-old Randy Axelson was arrested by Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents on Friday after an investigation was requested by the Rooks County Attorney.

A judge set Axelson’s bond at $45,000, and he is required to wear a monitoring bracelet.

Axelson was elected sheriff in 2008.
