The closing date for the land swap between Ellis Countyand Commerce Bank is being delayed.
County Administrator Greg Sund says the bank has requested more time for an environmental study and surveyor work at 22nd and Vine in Hays.
The county commission Tuesday night agreed to the one month delay.
