A Ness County woman and a teenager were injured in a two vehicle accident on K-96 (half-mile west of Bazine) Wednesday morning around 7AM.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Connie J. Baker was westbound on K-96 when she slowed to make a u-turn onto eastbound K96 and was struck by another westbound vehicle.

Baker and a teen passenger in the second vehicle were transported to Ness County Hospital with injuries.

The driver and a third passenger in the second vehicle were not injured.
