The Kansas Legislature opens the 2012 session Monday. One of the key issues will be school funding, with Governor Sam Brownback having already released his proposal. 110th District Representative Dan Collins says he needs more information on the plan that would replace the current school finance formula.
Along with the budget, the legislature this session also will have to decide how to reapportion the state’s legislative and congressional districts.
