Authorities in western Kansas have released few details on the deaths of 2 people at a Lane County home.

The Hutchinson News reports the bodies of 2 adult men were found Friday in a home in Dighton, a city of about 1,000 residents.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation was at the scene on Saturday. The KBI referred questions to the sheriff’s department, which deferred to the Lane County prosecutor. That office in turn sent questions to the Kansas attorney general’s office, which said it was waiting for a request from the county prosecutor to get involved.

The Hutchinson News carried obituaries Monday for two Dighton men, ages 37 and 44, with the same last name, but it’s not known if they were the men found dead last week.
