The Hays Area Chamber of Commerce is warning its members and others in the business community that a  telemarketing campaign on behalf of the Taco Shop is not valid.

HACC Executive Director Tammy Wellbrock cautions the public to be aware of questionable actions on behalf of a business known as “City Press.”

Wellbrock says Taco Shop Manager Bob Keener contacted her Tuesday about a representative  calling local businesses, stating he “was contracted by Taco Shop.” The man claims he is selling advertisements for Taco Shop’s new menu.

Wellbrock says Taco Shop has not authorized this contact, nor is the Taco Shop working with any third-party company to sell menu advertisements.
