Although N.E.W is closing its Hays facility March 31st, the extended service plan call center will honor its lease through November 30, 2014.
The building just off south Commerce Parkway is owned by Heart of America Development Corporation, a local non-profit group.
Heart of America is working with the Ellis County Coalition for Economic Development to market the building. The group’s acting president, Mark McCullick, says N.E.W is not opposed to someone sub-leasing the building for the duration of the lease.
