Roberta Mae Ennis
Phillipsburg resident, Roberta Mae Ennis, passed away Tues., April 24, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE at the age of 60. She was born Dec. 14, 1951 in Phillipsburg, KS to William & Eva (Campbell) Ayres. Roberta was a Certified Nurse’s Aide.
Survivors include her parents of Phillipsburg; sons, James Harbison of Norton and Darrell Stutsman of Eldorado; daughters, Racheal Harm of Yates Center and Krystal Stutsman of Echo, CT; a brother, Robert Ayres of Branson, MO; four sisters: Willma Stratton of Lexington, MO; Carla Marshall of Smith Center; Doris Keiswetter of Phillipsburg and Paula Hartman of Concordia; and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Mrs. Ennis will lie in state during regular hours at the funeral home on Friday and Monday and again Tuesday until service time.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Roberta Ennis Memorial Fund.

Burton “Herb” Van Eaton
Agra resident, Burton “Herb” Van Eaton, passed away Tues., April 24, 2012 at the Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center, KS at the age of 84. He was born March 29, 1928 to Warren & Nora (Chance) Van Eaton. Herb was a retired railroad agent.
His wife, Donna, preceded him in death Feb. 22, 2012.
Survivors include his sons, Keith and Steve, and his daughter, Dixie Blackburn, all of Agra; two sisters: Carmen Rice of Kensington, KS and Doris Jo Pruitt of Salina, KS; and
5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Cremation was planned. A graveside service will be held Monday, Apr. 30, at 2:30 p.m. in the Agra Cemetery in Agra, KS with Pastor Becky Saddler officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Agra American Legion Post #357. There will be a lunch for family & friends prior to the service on Monday at 12:30 at the Agra American Legion.
Friends may sign his memory book at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel in Phillipsburg, KS during regular hours Thurs. & Fri. and also on Sunday from noon – 9:00 p.m.
