Chance of Severe Storms Today

A slight chance of severe thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon into early this evening along and south of a warm front.

Hail up to the size of tennis balls, winds up to 70 mph, and frequent lightning will be the main concerns. An isolated tornado could also be possible along the frontal boundary.

Today: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. East northeast wind between 7 and 13 mph.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. South wind between 8 and 14 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 86. South wind 7 to 10 mph increasing to between 15 and 18 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. Breezy, with a south wind between 17 and 22 mph.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Sunny, with a high near 86. West southwest wind between 10 and 13 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 59.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 85.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 88.
