The Hays Police Department conducted 10 traffic stops and received six animal calls on Tuesday, according to the Hays Police Activity Log.
Theft: Officers began an investigation into three theft reports on Tuesday. The first theft was reported in the 1900 block of Vine Street on Tuesday morning at 11:30. Another theft was reported in the 2000 block of General Custer Road between 2:00 and 3:00PM. The final theft report was reported in connection with an animal call in the 200 block of East 24th Street Tuesday afternoon at 2:17PM.
Burglary: The Hays PD investigated two burglary reports on Tuesday. The burglary of a business was reported in the 1000 block of Main Street at 9:32AM. The burglary of a residence was reported in the 300 block of West 16th Street that occurred between 7:45AM and 3:30PM.
Drug Offenses: Officers investigated three drug related offenses on Tuesday. The first was reported in the 700 block of West 12th Street at 11:52AM. The second drug offense was in the 2500 block of Vine Street at 5:26PM. Officers responded to the 2000 block of Milner Street for the report of a disturbance and a fight. Officers also conducted an investigated into drug related offenses in connection with the disturbance report Tuesday afternoon.
Motor Vehicle Accident: The Hays PD responded to two motor vehicle accidents on Tuesday afternoon. The first accident was reported at 27th and Indian Trail at 12:26PM. The final accident was reported in the 300 block of West 20th Street at 3:38PM.
