A Rice County man was injured in a Barton County accident on Saturday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol,  ”Thirty year old Jesse A. Thurman of Lyons was driving a1997 Chevy Cavalier Northbound on SE 105th Avenue, south of Ellinwood. Thurman drove across the Southbound lanes and the vehicle entered the West ditch and struck a concrete culvert. He was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was wearing a seat belt.”
