The Kansas Lottery today announced a $1 million ticket was purchased in northwest Kansas, possibly Ellis County, as part of Wednesday’s drawing.
The ticket matched the first five numbers — 5-25-30-58-59 Powerball 32.
Three Powerball tickets, two sold in New Jersey and one in Minnesota, matched all numbers Wednesday to split a $448.4 million jackpot. The cash option is $258.16 million. The Powerball jackpot returns to $40 million for Saturday’s drawing.
Counties where the ticket could have been sold include: Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton, Phillips, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rooks, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego or Ellis.
