SKYLVIA-A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 11 p.m. on Saturday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Robert L Snodgrass II, 61, Hutchinson, was eastbound on U.S. 50 three miles east of Sylvia.

The motorcycle struck a deer that was attempting to cross the highway.

Snodgrass II was transported to Wesley Medical Center.

He was not wearing a helmet according to the KHP.
