HHS girls’ golf headed to state

HAYS, Kan. – The Hays High girls’ golf team is headed to the state tournament for the 12th consecutive year after finishing runner-up at their own 4A Regional Monday at Smoky Hill Country Club. The Indians shot a 401 and finished one strike behind Andale.

Karee Dinkel was regional champ after shooting an 84 and winning by five strokes. Emily McGuire was sixth and Sophia Garrison ninth.

The 4A State Tournament is Monday October 16th at Lake Shawnee in Topeka.
