Agra resident Carl E. Jacobs passed away Oct. 7, 2018 at the Sun Porch Nursing Home in Smith Center at the age of 81.  He was born July 3, 1937 in Phillips County, Kansas, the son of Charles and Lola (Randall) Jacobs.

He is survived by his sister, Esther Leyendecker of Huron, South Dakota and nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen.  A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Daryl Dougherty officiating.
