Sally Jo (Underhill) Buchholz, age 70, of Hill City, Kansas passed away Saturday March 2, 2019 at Hays Medical Center. Sally was born May 21, 1948 in Syracuse, Kansas to Charles and Norma (Charles) Underhill.

Sally attended Trego Community Schools while growing up and received her GED in 1996. She married Stanley Allen Buchholz on July 26, 1969 in WaKeeney. They made their home in Hill City, Kansas. To this union they were blessed with three beautiful children, Christopher Justin of Bel Aire, Kansas, Kimberly Michelle of Lawrence, Kansas and Chandra Richelle of Rawlins, Wyoming.

Sally and Stanley owned and operated several businesses together including Stan’s Custom Harvesting, Stan’s Tree Service and Stan’s Dispos-All. There is nothing more she loved than her family.

Sally is survived by her son Christopher Buchholz and wife Jodi, daughter Kimberly Goodman and husband Leroy, daughter Chandra Buchholz, along with grandchildren, Sheldon Buchholz, Kinsey Buchholz, Emani Sipple, Tate Buchholz, Deja Sipple, Zander Turcato, Aliyah Turcato, and great grandchildren Thanos Vanderhorst and Aurora Thomas. She is also survived by her brother David Underhill and wife Janet, Mitchell, NE, sister Diana Underhill Bratts and husband David, Ozawkie, KS, sister Trixie Underhill Carney, Colby, KS, brother Frank Underhill and wife Joan, Mustan, OK, brother Keith Underhill and wife Carol of Hill City, KS and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Buchholz, son, Troy Allen Buchholz, parents Charles and Norma Underhill, and brother Terry Underhill.

Graveside memorial service will take place at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at WaKeeney City Cemetery. Inurnment will follow.
